Hi there Emil – firstly thank you for the kind words. I am a newbie –> and YOU are the good blogger! Good question though. Yes the good folk at WP have designed their CMS with SEO in mind. It’s actually very well done and the best of all is that it’s all done seamless without you having to think about it. This makes it a perfect platform for Joe Bloggs and the non-SEO layman. I love WP myself because it still gives you the option of changing your URL’s to a more SEO friendly version. That’s awesome, in other words you are not forced to accept what they offer as standard SEO compliance. But if you build you own website from scratch – then my ideas as mentioned would come in handy. Would the same apply to a simple blog? When installing something like WordPress, for example, it seems to come standard with a specific folder structure and many plugins that assist in the SEO arena.

I agree with Tom – the humor is great and makes reading the somewhat lengthy posts extremely easy. Riveting stuff, dude!

Once again a solid post my good man. The rules you lay down are so simple to follow. But it is amazing that so many don’t.

I like the tone and the way this post is written. It’s written for me, to help me, not just to get traffic.

For those of you reading this post and comment, I can attest to the fact that I personally have tried to follow the simple steps outlined in this post, and can say without a doubt that it has helped tremendously.
